Mico’s House of Chicken and Waffles
I ABSOULTELY LOVE WAFFLES. I think they are amazing and I could eat it everyday if I didn’t have to worry about my weight. I found this cafe during the Food Expo in Abuja and I thought it was pretty decent given the price.

I was in Abuja over the festive season and I dragged my friends to the cafe to try it again as par it’s cheap.The restaurant wasn’t really hard to find as it was in neighbourhood. The cafe was empty when we got there and there was no light. It felt like we were their first customers that day. I ordered the Chocolate flavored Belgian Waffles with Pancake syrup and vanilla ice cream but they didn’t have Ice cream so I replaced it with a cup of Hot Chocolate. My friends ordered the jambalaya pasta, waffle drumsticks and pancakes with scrambled eggs.

My own order arrived in about 10 minutes then it took about 15 minutes for the next order to come in. I expected them to bring out all of them at the same time as per we came in a group. The hot chocolate was horrible but then I paid N200 for it.
I expected them to look like this.
Chuka: The waffle was good until I hit the chicken. Not sure I enjoyed the sugar chicken. Might be just me, but Nigerians didn’t grow up associating sweet chicken with having sugar in it.
Gbemiga: I liked it. It was nice for the price but the chicken was dry. But for the price that seems like nitpicking. The waffles was nicely done. I liked the syrup , it wasn’t too much or too little.
They do deliveries within Abuja.
They are also located in Lekki, Lagos.
Would I come back again? Definitely

Having been to the Lagos one, I agree with your review. They could do so much better, but like you said, for the price I guess we shouldn’t really complain

I think I lost it when they didn’t have ice cream. I was reading it like a developing love affair and the lack of ice cream was kinda like the cock-block. The hot chocolate was terrible, so are most people who try to be the replacement.
